NottsWatch – free website to receive police alerts/give information

3 logosNottinghamshire Neighbourhood Watch (NottsWatch) represents the interests of Neighbourhood Watch members, schemes and associations throughout the City of Nottingham and                                                                       County of Nottinghamshire.

Its objectives (through self-help and in collaboration with Partners) are to promote, develop and strengthen the Neighbourhood Watch movement throughout Nottinghamshire, to help prevent and reduce crime & anti-social behaviour and the fear of them, and to develop stronger, supportive & safer communities.

NottsWatch is a registered charity (No. 1156310) currently run by an Executive Committee of seven Trustees, these being elected at an Annual General Meeting each year – from the membership, by the membership.

The website has been developed to allow anyone to register at to contribute to making your community safer.  Once signed in, you can use your own home PC, smartphone or tablet to access this new web-based crime alert system.  The website at is an updated version of the micro site at  There is no need to re-register, if you previously registered via the Broxtowe website.

This new website brings the traditional Neighbourhood Watch scheme into the 21st century by allowing community members to contribute without having to attend meetings or patrol streets. It’s simple to use, highly secure and free and can provide warnings about local criminal activity and prevention advice by email, text or phone. It also allows members to supply information to the police about suspicious activity in total confidence and discuss local issues online.
