TICKETS are now on sale for the Broxtowe Borough Bollywood Charity Ball in aid of Wellbeing of Women – a chance to enjoy an evening filled with authentic Bollywood delights, good food and good music. So come along and dance the night away on Saturday 24 March 2018.

Year after year, the Broxtowe Borough Charity Ball has developed a reputation for providing an extra special evening, bringing together local people, their relatives and friends, plus partner organisations, councillors, officers, and supporters of the Borough. All proceeds from the Ball will this year be donated to Wellbeing of Women.

This year’s ball promises to be an extravagant evening with a drinks reception closely followed by a delicious three course meal. The evening will excite with a charity raffle filled with fantastic prizes sponsored by local businesses, a performance by the brilliant acoustic band Antiquity, and a special auction of a Paul Smith handbag worth over £500.

Tickets are just £35.00 per person and are now on sale until Friday 2 March 2018. The grand evening will be hosted by the Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Halimah Khaled MBE at the award-winning Nottingham Belfry Hotel, Mellors Way, Nottingham.

Councillor Khaled said: “Wellbeing of Women is a charity very close to my heart. They fund the best research in women’s health in the UK, improving the health of women in pregnancy, giving birth, and those suffering from gynaecological cancer. The Ball will be a fantastic way to raise vital funds to support their work, as well as a fun and fantastic end to what has been a wonderful year as Mayor.”
