£10,000 Grant Awarded To Stapleford Community Group

Over £50,000 was spent on Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground last year and the new lottery award will enable further improvements, making  a huge difference to the residents who use it.

A new Tyre Park is one of the possibilities as well as outdoor exercise equipment. This will encourage local beneficiaries to engage in healthy physical activity.

A meeting between an Officer from Broxtowe Borough Council and Stapleford Community Group will take place on the Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground to see how best to spend this award to benefit the local Community.
