    Bramcote Nursing Home

It was very disappointing to read a review from the care quality commission this week which was highly critical of Bramcote Nursing Home on Town Street. In particular they said that the home was not clean enough to stop the spread of infections and there was no system in place to respond to allegations of abuse. As a result of this Notts County Council have stopped placing any further residents there for the time being. The home was sold about two years ago and the problems seem to have arisen since the new owners took over. Myself and my councillor colleagues are eager to work with the owners to ensure that standards are brought up to scratch.

If David Watts and his fellow Councillor colleagues were so eager to work with the owners of Bramcote House Care Home why did they never once hear from any of them.

It’s been Councillor Richard MacRae and Councillor Janice Goold and our MP Anna Soubry has been helping too. The Care Home have not heard a peep from anyone else what so ever during these difficult times or in the past.
