    You raise a serious issue and indeed Bramcote Ward has in recent years seen the loss of 25% of its pubs.

    I am pleased to report the findings of ethnographic research (https://www.gov.uk/service-manual/user-centred-design/user-research/ethnographic-research.html) on one of our local pubs – Steve Austin and I actively engaged with the White Lion’s beer festival last weekend. I do not claim that our two pints were in any way statistically representative of the choice on offer but we can confirm that that establishment seems to be in quite a healthy state.
