Katelyn Severn Ballerina from Bramcote is to perform in Nottingham next week

Katelyn SevernKatelyn will be performing at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham next week in Matthew Bourne’s magical dance production of Edward Scissorhands that has carved a place in the hearts of thousands across the world since its premiere.    Since joining Matthew Bourne’s company ‘New Adventures’ in London last October, Katelyn and the other members of the company spent a month rehearsing  and then a week each in Plymouth, Glasgow and Salford. Then between 2 December 2014 and 11 January 2015 they were performing at Sadlers Wells to sold out audiences.  They are this week at Woking and from Tuesday 20 January until Saturday 24 January 2015 at the Theatre Royal.  The company will continue their tour at Liverpool, Norwich, Birmingham and Cardiff.  Katelyn has two parts within the production, it will be either the Vicar’s Wife, Esmerelda Evercrech or The Mayor’s Wife, Charity Upton.
