Invitation to a Mental Health Awareness Session

Free Tea and Cake!
I am writing to invite you to one of our Tea for Two Sessions.

VAB is part of a national campaign called Time to Change aimed at breaking down the stigma which surrounds mental health.

We have recruited and trained a small group of volunteers with lived experience of a mental health condition, either past or present. Their role is to have conversations with you over FREE tea, coffee and homemade cake in our vintage tea parlour.

We start with a song and a small ice-breaker before leaving you to enjoy conversations with our volunteers over tea. 1 in 4 of us will suffer from a mental health condition at some point in our lives. It is not as rare as people might think.
We would like to invite you, your colleagues or members of your group to join us!

You can choose either a morning or an afternoon session. The morning sessions begin at 10 am and the afternoon sessions start at 1pm. Choose any Monday between now and the end of October.

Because we have limited space we need you to book your place. Booking is easy – just email kateb@vabroxtowe.org.uk. Or phone 01159178080 and ask for Kate .

Kate will then send you an invitation card for the session of your choice.

We hope you can join us!
