1 Response to Bramcote CAT Meeting Monday 1 September – Agenda

  1. David Singh says:

These proposals are outrageous showing absolutely no consideration to the residents and locals who have been using the fields for a vast range of activities for generations in the pursuit of health including the real serious problem of children obesity. The sports that people play here is totally dependent upon this field for the local as the country desperately requires up and coming sports men and women to compete against other countries during such great sporting events such as the Olympics and Commonwealth games.
This is a well-loved and well used sport grounds as we residents of Moor Lane can vouch for throughout the year, morning, noon and night. Children have this field to keep themselves out of trouble and develop their talents, it is very important that this amenity continues for the sake of children.
If you need to raise money for the school use land that hasn’t got thousands of people requiring it and depending on it. There must be other fields and land in Broxtowe that could be used that lay waste but this does not.
