Broxtowe Borough Council will take back Grass Cutting

Grass CuttingComplaints about “shabby” grass cutting carried out by Nottinghamshire County Council have led to the responsibility being passed back to three district councils.

Grass cutting used to be handled by local councils but was taken over by Notts County Council in 2012.

However, the authority admitted there were problems – and have now agreed that Ashfield, Broxtowe and Mansfield councils will cut their own verges and lawns again.

    Bramcote Today will be continuing to monitor and report on this.

  2. Now the borough are doing the cutting it will no doubt be back to the standard we are used to, the county made a right mess around Stapleford.
