  1. Mike Johnson says:

The Rowland Emett Water Clock has been a feature in the Victoria Centre for so long it should in my opinion remain in the same place. It is a meeting place and a source funds for charities. It is now an integral part of Nottingham.

I wouldn’t mind if it was relocated in another prominent city centre location. In a sense, currently the clock provides a welcome break from commercial fury in the shopping centre, but it would be good to be able to enjoy it without the shopping aspect! Outdoors would be best but I suspect that isn’t feasible in terms of maintenance.

In any case it would be a very big shame if it was removed to a hidden place.
